Mr Jahrad Haq is a Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon based in London, UK. He is qualified in medicine and dentistry and works at a St George’s Hospital, which is a major trauma centre and leading medical school. He also works in private practice in central London and as clinical lead for the maxillofacial department at St Peter’s hospital in Surrey.
His subspecialty interests include orthognathic surgery with virtual surgical planning and waferless techniques, skin cancer ablation and reconstruction using local flaps and xenograft dermal templates, maxillofacial trauma, complex skull base access and custom craniofacial implant design and placement. Mr Haq has regularly lectured on these topics as an invited speaker both nationally and internationally.
Mr Haq is a founding partner of Step by Step Surgery, an educational resource offering high level, hands on dissection and online courses in facial deformity, maxillofacial trauma and complex skin reconstructive surgery. He has undertaken charity surgical missions to Vietnam as part of Facing The World, as well as hosting international surgeons in London as part of an exchange fellowship programme.
