Dr. Quatela is known as one of the top facial plastic surgeons in the Buffalo, Syracuse, and Rochester, NY region, but his reputation extends well beyond Upstate NY. His expertise in facial plastic surgery is recognized nationally and internationally by the medical community and patients alike. Dr. Quatela’s dedication to improving people’s lives by using his skill to enhance their appearance and confidence has led him to develop a comprehensive practice, which extends beyond traditional facial plastic surgery with Q the Medical Spa and the Quatela Center for Hair Restoration, both located at the Lindsay House.

His long list of professional accomplishments includes serving as the president of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS) and establishing the HUGS (Help Us Give Smiles) Foundation that supports medical missions to underserved countries such as Ecuador, Guatemala, and Vietnam. Dr. Quatela is an Allergan Top 250 provider, placing the Quatela Center as the only practice with this distinction in the Rochester, Syracuse, and Buffalo area. This recognition puts he and the Quatela Center in the top 2% of all of Allergan’s practices across the country.

Dr. Moyer is the Shan R. Baker Collegiate Professor in Facial and Reconstructive Surgery in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Michigan School of Medicine. Dr. Moyer serves as an Associate Chair of the Department and is the Division Chief of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Moyer’s clinical practice encompasses the broad field of facial plastic and reconstructive surgery including rhinoplasty, aging-face surgery, and local flap reconstruction of cutaneous defects after skin cancer surgery. His research interests focus on outcomes after skin cancer reconstruction, particularly functional and aesthetic outcomes of the nose. Dr. Moyer also has a particular focus on international health with work in West Africa centered around increasing the capacity of Otolaryngology care delivery in low-resourced settings.

Dr Yoon-Duck Kim is Director, Oculoplastic and Orbital Surgery Division and Professor, Department of Ophthalmology, Samsung Medical Center, SungKyunKwan University School of Medicine, Korea.

Yoon-Duck undertook her professional training at Seoul National University Hospital, and undertook a Clinical Fellowship of the Oculoplastic Surgery at the Mt. Sinai Medical Center, Cleveland, Ohio, USA, and a further International Fellowship of the Oculoplastic Surgery at the Jules Stein Eye Institute, UCLA, LA, CA, USA.

Yoon-Duck is on the Editorial Board of several journals, including Korean Journal of Ophthalmology, Ophthalmic Surgery News, Orbit, Ophthalmic Platstic and Reconstructive Surgery, Taiwan Journal of Ophthalmology, Asia Pacific Journal of Ophthalmology.

Dr. Jonathan M. Sykes was the director of Facial Plastic Surgery at the University of California, Davis Medical Center for more than 30 years and an editor of six textbooks and has written over 200 scientific articles, book chapters, and other papers in the medical literature. He is also a highly sought after lecturer, having given over 1,000 lectures locally, nationally, and internationally.  Last year, Dr. Sykes gave over 150 lectures. He has reviewed scientific papers for the Archives of Facial Plastic Surgery, the Aesthetic Surgery Journal, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Laryngoscope.

He has performed over 20,000 surgical procedures, and is an expert in rhinoplasty, aging-related surgeries such as facelift, browlift, and eyelid lift surgery. He has a special interest in Facial Feminization Surgery (FFS).  He has instructed many people on the anatomy and injection technique for neuromodulators, such as Botulinum Toxin, and is an instructor for many filling agents such as Sculptra. He has been asked to perform live demonstration surgeries in over 15 countries.

Dr. Sykes has a passion for children and enjoys surgery for cleft deformities and craniofacial surgery.  He has gone on over 25 humanitarian missions to many countries including the Philippines, El Salvador, Honduras, Russia, Bolivia, Brazil, and China.

He has served on the Board of Directors of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery for 10 years, having been Western Region Vice President, VP of Education, and most recently, elected President of the AAFPRS in 2010.  He recently co-chaired the Many Faces of Giving campaign for the AAFPRS and helped raise over $4 million for FPS education, humanitarian efforts, and research.

He has been awarded the prestigious William Wright teaching award by the AAFPRS and has been awarded the 1887 award for community service and humanitarian missions by this organization. Dr. Sykes is most proud of his teaching, having contributed to the training of over 75 residents and personally training  25 fellows in facial plastic surgery. His fellowship in FPS is highly sought after, and commonly receives over 40 applicants for a single position.  He commonly has visitors from other countries, having taught over 100 international visitors facelift, rhinoplasty, eyelid, and congenital cleft surgery at UC Davis Medical Center.

​In 2018, Jonathan Sykes expanded his practice to Southern California as the Director of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at The Roxbury Institute in Beverly Hills. Regarded as one of the top facial plastic surgeons in the nation, Dr. Sykes joins the elite team of medical, surgical and aesthetic specialists led by Founder and Medical Director Dr. David Amron. “I could not be happier to begin my appointment as the Director of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at The Roxbury Institute,” said Dr. Sykes. “Having the opportunity to work in such a world-class medical, research, and educational facility alongside so many skilled surgeons is a great privilege. Dr. Sykes is currently acting as the Chief Medical Director for Les Encres Threads and serves as a thought leader and educator in the cosmetic thread industry. Jonathan Sykes was also recently recognized as one of the Best Aesthetic Injectors in America for 2019-2020.

Dr. Gordon specializes in primary and revision facial rejuvenation and rhinoplasty.  He was one of the early pioneers of the Deep Plane Facelift and presented the first large series on its efficacy and safety in 1996.   He further advanced the deep-plane technique and presented both the Extended Deep-Plane/Vertical Platysma Advancement and his advance of browlift technique, the Vertical Galea Advancement, as the keynote speaker at the AAFPS Symposium on Facelifts in Sydney Australia in 2016.  He has subsequently presented and published his techniques on six continents. His extensive experience in revision rhytidectomy was recognized in “W MAGAZINE”, where Dr. Gordon was named “the Revisionist”, for his ability to restore a natural look to an overstretched, overdone face.

Dr. Gordon has created a unique environment at The Retreat at Split Rock, an elegant, historical  18th century estate, is home to his Connecticut licensed, state of the art, fully accredited New England Surgical Center; with adjoining Inn and Aesthetic Institute, provides an all-encompassing environment of care, privacy and luxury.

Richard C. Allen MD PhD FACS is an oculoplastic surgeon at Texas Oculoplastics Consultants in Austin, Texas.  He is the former Carolyn F. Elles Professor of Ophthalmology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Dr. Allen attended Duke University where he received a BS in Chemistry followed by Baylor College of Medicine where he received his MD and PhD degrees. He completed a residency in ophthalmology and a fellowship in oculoplastic surgery at the University of Iowa. Dr. Allen is a member of ASOPRS, ESOPRS, and the Orbital Society.  He is the President of ASOPRS in 2023 and the Editor-in-Chief for the journal Orbit.  Dr. Allen has lectured throughout the world and has over 120 peer-reviewed publications which have been cited over 5000 times.  His on-line oculoplastic surgery video atlas (available at www.oculosurg.com), hosted by the University of Iowa, is recognized worldwide.  He is affiliated with the Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Texas Dell Medical School in Austin, TX.

António Sousa Vieira, specialist in otorhinolaryngology since 1990. From then on, his passion for rhinology steered his career. The treatment of functional and aesthetic problems of the nose led him, and still does, to a constant updating of knowledge.

Attending national and international conventions on a regular basis is factual evidence of his expertise. Throughout the last 17 years he has become a steady speaker at international conferences and courses, where he has sharing his experience of thousands of surgeries.

Author of several international articles, some exposing his personal techniques to the scientific community, he is a promoter of both functional and aesthetic Rhinoplasty , concurrently, in order to improve the patient’s quality of life. For him Rhinoplasty is an art, and as such, each case is unique and has a custom-made result.

Dr. Abdulkadir Goksel was born in Gaziantep.  He entered Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine after finishing his elementary and secondary education in Gaziantep. In his faculty years, he did practices in the UK and Spain. In 1993, he graduated as Doctor of Medicine from the Medical Faculty of Istanbul University. After a short time, he took his Board Certification as an Otolaryngologist at the Goztepe Training and Research Hospital in 1998.

During his specialty training, he was interested in the topics of Functional Nose Surgery, Rhinoplasty, Revision Rhinoplasty, Snoring and Sleep Apnea. He did plenty of research on these issues. In the mean time, he has participated in more than thirty domestic or overseas congresses and courses.

Dr. Goksel has got courses at the Center of Anatomy and Cell Biology of Vienna Medical University from Giovanni Botti who is well-known of facial aesthetic surgery. He studied ‘Balloon Sinuplasty’  which is an extremely new technique for sinusitis treatment with Prof. Dr. Howard L. Levine, who was the president of the American Society of Rhinology in Chicago. He did studies on cadavers which are related to facial plastic surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. Dr. Goksel has improved his expertise in rhinoplasty and learnt migraine headache surgery by being given the opportunity to work together with one of the world’s best facial plastic surgeons Prof. Dr. Bahman Guyuron at Cleveland Case Western Reverse University.

He has participated a lot of congresses which were held by International Facial Plastic Surgery Academies in Asia, Europe, Australia and America as a guest speaker. Particularly his rhinoplasty, revision rhinoplasty, snoring, sinusitis and endoscopic lacrimal sac surgery numbers are above the standards. Every year, a lot of Turkish and foreign assistants and specialists come for observing his surgeries as his welcomed guests who are willing to learn from his unique Rhinoplasty technique.

He had active position in the Rhinoplasty and Anatomy focus groups of the European Academy of the Facial Plastic Surgery for several years. He organized a lot of educational courses for whom wants to learn new techniques in rhinoplasty.

Op.Dr.Goksel is board certified by European Board for Certification in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and he speaks English fluently. He is also a member of  the European Rhinoplasty Society, European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery, Turkish Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery Foundation,  Turkish Facial Plastic Surgery Society, The Turkish Rhinology Society, Turkish Otorhinolaryngology Foundation and Istanbul Medical Association. He is the founder member of International Rhinoplasty

Mr Raghavan is an ENT and Facial Plastic Surgeon. He is certified by International Board for Certification in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and European Board for Certification in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Mr Raghavan is dedicated exclusively to facial cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. He is Certified by the Royal College of Surgeons for all aspects of Facial Cosmetic Surgery.

​Mr Raghavan completed his training in Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery from the  University hospitals of Nottingham, Derby and Leicester in the year 2005. As a clinical fellow of the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery, Mr Raghavan had training in facial cosmetic and reconstructive surgery in various centres in Europe and US.

​He was appointed as a Consultant in Otorhinolaryngology and Facial Plastic Surgery in Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Consultant, Mr Raghavan developed facial plastic services within the ENT department, and his NHS work involves 95% Facial Plastic Surgery and 5 % rhinology. He organises a basic facial plastic surgery course in Doncaster and an advanced facial aesthetic surgery course in Nottingham.

​Mr Raghavan has published many peer reviewed scientific papers, book chapters on facial plastic surgery and lectured in various meetings nationally and internationally. Since 2007 he has been a national committee member of BSFPS and is the past secretary of British Society of Facial Plastic Surgery.

Mehmet Manisali was born in in Istanbul in 1958.He finished English High school in Istanbul in 1977.Having qualified from Bristol University Dental school in 1982 he then obtained a Masters degree in University of London. He completed his medical studies in the same university in 1992.In year 2000 he became a specialist in maxillofacial surgery and was appointed as a consultant to St.George’s Hospital, University of London and Croydon University Hospital. He is past president of the Maxillofacial Surgery section of the Royal Society of Medicine. He is regularly invited by the Facing the World Charity to lead surgical missions in Vietnam. His main areas of interest are management of facial trauma, facial aesthetic surgery including orthognathic surgery, surgery of the orbit and management of facial skin cancer. He has published in these areas and lectures nationally and internationally. He is also the co-founder of the Step by Step Surgical Courses.

Dr. Ed Yap has profound interest in rhinoplasty.  He has published articles in local and international journals and has contributed manuscript chapters in books of renowned authors. He is a dedicated leader in rhinoplasty education in the Philippines. He revolutionized the structured concept of aesthetic nasal surgery in the Philippines.  His popular technique of Sail Excision for management of hanging ala has been widely used by local and international surgeons.  He has vast experience in using e-PTFE as dorsal graft material.  He is frequently invited as faculty in meetings and workshops locally and international. He holds annual RhinoMaMa (Rhinoplasty Masterclass Manila) which is gaining popularity in Asia.

Dr. Joseph Amado Jay Galvez, MD, is one of the pioneers at the forefront of Facial Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery in the Philippines. He has been Course Director and Organizer of the Minimally Invasive Facial Aesthetic Surgery (MIFAS) course which has been running yearly in Manila since 2006. He has zealously strived to impart the fundamental anatomic concepts and facial aesthetic and plastic surgery principles thru copious lectures, live demonstrations and fresh frozen cadaver dissections to aspiring physicians not only in the Philippines but also in the Asia-Pacific region. As Chairman of the Department of Otorhinolaryngolgy-Head and Neck Surgery and Chief of the Section of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at the University of the City of Manila- Ospital ng Maynila Medical Center, he is very active in his consultancy, mentoring medical students and residents alike. He is a Fellow of the Philippine Society of Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. He is currently President of the Facial Aesthetic Plastic Core of ENT Surgeons (FACES) and has personally mentored all of its Fellows. He is also a founding member of the Philippine Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (PAFPRS). Dr. Galvez is also an international Faculty for Allergan Medical Institute and has conducted hands-on training, clinical facilitations on Botox and Juvederm injections and performed countless fresh frozen cadaver masterclasses both locally and abroad.

Dr. Alireza Mesbahi is board certified in Otorhinolaryngology & facial plastic surgery. He is board certified by the International & European boards for certification in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery. His major field of interest is focused on aesthetic and functional nasal surgery, although he is very expert in all fields of facial plastic surgery such as Blepharoplasty, Otoplasty, Botox & Filler injection and Facial augmentation.

He is one of the pioneers & very expert and famous surgeons regarding Endonasal technique for Septorhinoplasty operation and till now he had more than twelve thousand Septorhinoplasty operation by this unique approach with excellent results.

Dr. Mesbahi regularly is invited as faculty speaker for lecturing & live surgeries for unique Endonasal technique for Septorhinoplasty operation in all parts of the world. He is international delegate of European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery (EAFPS). He is general secretary of Iranian Rhinologic Society (IRS). He is a very active member of American & European academies of Rhinology & facial plastic surgery (AAFPRS), (ERS), (EAFPS) beside the Pan Asian Academy of Facial Plastic and reconstructive Surgery Society also (PAAFPRS).

He is the founder and course director of the Shiraz Rhinology & Facial Plastic Surgery International Course (SRFPSIC) that is one the most attractive and practical Rhinology and Facial Plastic Surgery courses in the Middle East.

He is one of the board members of International Rhinology Society (IRS) & Pan Asian Academy of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery (PAAFPRS).

Dr. Mesbahi is honorary member of Italian Rhinology Society & Vice president of Facial Plastic surgery committee of Middle East Academy of Otorhinolaryngology & International representative of European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery (EAFPS).

Mr Messiha has undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications in Medicine and Dentistry. This was followed by General Surgical training before returning to the London Deanery Higher Surgical Training program in Oral & Maxillo-Facial Surgery at St George’s Hospital, Northwick Park Hospital (Imperial), Queen Victoria Hospital (East Grinstead), and the Royal Surrey County Hospital. Ash was awarded the Intercollegiate Specialty Board FRCS in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery and pursued his interest subject in Facial Deformity. He has written several book chapters as well as various publications. He has travelled extensively and lectured in Malta, Brazil, Turkey as well as UK.

He was appointed in a substantive Consultant position at Northwick Park Hospital and St Mary’s London Imperial University Hospitals and subsequently joined the team at St George’s Hospital, Ashford and St Peter’s Hospitals, where he is currently the Clinical lead at St George’s Hospital. 

He is a core member of the Cranio-Orbito-Facial deformity Multidisciplinary Team as well as the Joint Orthognathic team. Ash is a Council Member of the Royal Society of Medicine and has an active role as the Educational Lead for Pan London Oral and Maxillofacial Surgical Training Faculty at the London Deanery. Ash is Appointed Educational Supervisor for School of General Surgery, London Deanery. 

He has an active interest in TMJ surgery, OSAS, Orthognathic surgery, facial reanimation as well as surgical dermatology and orofacial rehabilitation with zygomatic Implants.

Mr Jahrad Haq is a Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon based in London, UK.  He is qualified in medicine and dentistry and works at a St George’s Hospital, which is a major trauma centre and leading medical school.  He also works in private practice in central London and as clinical lead for the maxillofacial department at St Peter’s hospital in Surrey.

His subspecialty interests include orthognathic surgery with virtual surgical planning and waferless techniques, skin cancer ablation and reconstruction using local flaps and xenograft dermal templates, maxillofacial trauma, complex skull base access and custom craniofacial implant design and placement.  Mr Haq has regularly lectured on these topics as an invited speaker both nationally and internationally.

Mr Haq is a founding partner of Step by Step Surgery, an educational resource offering high level, hands on dissection and online courses in facial deformity, maxillofacial trauma and complex skin reconstructive surgery.  He has undertaken charity surgical missions to Vietnam as part of Facing The World, as well as hosting international surgeons in London as part of an exchange fellowship programme.
